About the event

Join 60,000 fellow runners on Sunday 13 September 2026 and experience the magic of the Great North Run – the largest half marathon in the world. Taking place in North East England each September, the Great North Run sees participants run from Newcastle upon Tyne and South Shields.

Who can enter?

Great North Run entries are open to runners aged 17 and above on the day of the event. Accessible places are available. Please contact [email protected] for further information.
