Thames Footpath Challenge 2026

Join us on Saturday 10 October 2026 for the Thames Footpath Challenge and take on a rewarding journey along the River Thames. 

Starting at Hampton Court Palace, the route will lead you through beautiful scenery and past historic landmarks, finishing with an unforgettable moment as you cross Millennium Bridge with St Paul’s Cathedral in view. 

This marathon-distance challenge offers a fantastic sense of achievement, with a route filled with iconic sights and memorable moments along the way.

How it works 

There are flexible options available to suit different preferences. 

Most participants choose a minimum sponsorship option, where you pay a registration fee and commit to a fundraising target. This fundraising helps cover the cost of the challenge while raising vital funds for Family Fund. 

There are also part self-funded options available if you would prefer to contribute more towards the cost of the challenge and fundraise at a lower level. 

Whichever option you choose, you’ll be supported throughout your journey, with guidance on fundraising, training and preparation every step of the way.
