Who is Autism NI? 

Autism NI is Northern Ireland’s longest serving autism charity and training provider. They work to provide life changing services for over 35,000 autistic people and their families throughout Northern Ireland.

They campaign to inspire and educate local people, communities, businesses and government to ensure everyone can understand autism, and how to support autistic people.

How can Autism NI help? 

Autism NI operates a Helpline Service from Monday to Friday 9am-5pm on 028 9040 1729 (option 1). Autistic adults, parents, family members, and professionals use this service to seek access to other services, resources, advice and information on a wide range of issues related to autism pre and post diagnosis.

The Early Intervention Service is a partnership service, led by Autism NI, which aims to build and strengthen relationships for families of autistic children aged 17 and under. The service supports families in the Belfast, Northern, South Eastern and Western trust areas, including:

• Encouraging early childhood intervention through a programme of practical skills training

• Training courses for parents and family members

• Support groups for family members in the community

Autism NI provide a unique autistic adult support service which provides critical, community-based support to autistic people and their families.
