This summer, help us support disabled and seriously ill children while having fun out in the sun!
We’ve put together an A-Z list of fundraising ideas especially for the summertime. From game days and sponsored nature walks to raffles and snack stalls, there’s lots of ideas to inspire your summer fundraising.
A – Accessible games day
Organise an inclusive afternoon of fun, with games for all abilities. Think Jenga, snakes and ladders and more. Invite your friends and family to join in the fun!
B – Brew and a Break
Gather your friends and colleagues for our wholesome fundraiser, Brew and a Break. Whether you’re at home or work, baking or buying, you’ll be raising money for families with disabled or seriously ill children.
Are you a passionate painted or a crafty crocheter? Let your creativity go wild and sell something homemade.
D – Digital challenge
There are lots of easy ways to make a big impact from your home. Stream your favourite game, host a virtual quiz, or play your favourite game. Need advice? We’ve got you covered!
Do you have a bunch of old clutter lying around the house? Old clothes, shoes that don’t fit, or electricals that are out of date? Head over to eBay and donate a percentage of your sale to Family Fund.
F – Family picnic in the park
Invite your family and friends for a community picnic. Get in touch to ask us for a collection tin, and raise funds so more families can make happy memories together.
G – Give up, give back
What could you give up this summer? Donate the cost of that midweek takeaway to Family Fund this summer or get sponsored to give up chocolate. You choose!
With long days and sunny weather, summer is the perfect time to do a sponsored run. Whether it’s a full marathon or a smaller 10k, you can set your own pace and run for charity.
Run a craft, cooking or mindfulness workshop – help others feel good while raising money for a good cause.
X – Xtra mile challenge
Go the extra mile and take on a challenge for Family Fund. Whether that’s a water assault course, abseiling, skydiving, choose whatever gets your blood pumping!
Do you go to Yoga or another type of fitness class? Ask the instructor if they will host a one-off session with all fees supporting disabled and seriously ill children.
Z – Zzz for a night in
Hold a sponsored sleepover a cosy night in, you could play games and charge for snacks.
